Germination of

Ajuga genevensis

Sowing Time: Can be sown in early spring or autumn.
Seed Preparation: Stratify seeds by placing them in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks before sowing.
Sowing Depth: Surface sow the seeds and press them gently into the soil without covering them, as they require light for germination.
Spacing: Space seeds or seedlings 12 inches (30 cm) apart.
Soil Requirements: Prefers moist, well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0-7.5.
Light Requirements: Grows well in partial shade but can tolerate full sun in cooler climates.
Watering: Keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged.
Germination Time: Germination typically occurs within 14-21 days.
Transplanting: Once seedlings have two sets of true leaves, they can be transplanted to their final location.

Many seeds require pre-treatment before sowing which we try to list here when we can, but this information may not be present here.  Germination times and germination temperatures are to be a guide only.  Many factors can DRASTICALLY affect this.
