Anacardium occidentale: Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before planting. Sow them in a well-draining soil mix and keep them moist. The seeds should germinate in 2-3 weeks. Anacardium orridentale: Anacardium orridentale seeds should be sown in well-draining soil and kept moist at all times. They require bright, indirect light and warm temperatures of around 70-80�F (21-27�C) for optimal germination. Germination can take anywhere from 1-3 months.
