CANADA POST IS ON STRIKE AGAIN - We have removed Canada Post as a shipping option and are now shipping with UPS AND FEDEX. (They are more expensive and have added preditory premiums while Canada Post is on strike, but they are still moving parcels) All Lettmail-shipped items will still be proccessed and dropped with carrier weekly but will only start to move once mail service resumes. Parcels to PO boxes will be shipped once mail service resumes.
Germination of
Bambusa bambos
Giant Thorny Bamboo, Bambusa Arundinacea, Thorny Giant Bamboo, Spiny Bamboo, King Bamboo, Elephant Bamboo, Jumbo Bamboo
Soak seeds in water for 24-48 hours to enhance germination.
Plant in a mix of sand and compost or a well-draining potting medium.
Keep soil consistently moist and warm (around 75-85°F / 24-29°C).
Bamboo seeds can take time to germinate, so patience is required.

Many seeds require pre-treatment before sowing which we try to list here when we can, but this information may not be present here. Germination times and germination temperatures are to be a guide only. Many factors can DRASTICALLY affect this.
