Germination of
Echeveria Colorata Tapalpa X Alba
Echeveria Colorata Tapalpa X Alba: Blue Rose Echeveria, Tapalpa Echeveria, Alba Echeveria, White Rose Echeveria, Ghost Echeveria
To germinate Echeveria Colorata Tapalpa X Alba seeds, prepare a well-draining potting mix of half coarse sand and half peat moss. Fill a seed tray with the mix, leaving about an inch of space from the top. Sow the seeds on the surface of the mix, spacing them out evenly. Do not cover the seeds with soil as they need light to germinate. Mist the surface of the mix with water to keep it moist but not waterlogged.
Place the seed tray in a warm, brightly lit location but away from direct sunlight. The ideal temperature for germination is around 70-75F. The seeds should start to germinate in about 2-3 weeks. Once the seedlings have grown to about an inch tall, transplant them into individual pots with a well-draining potting mix. Water the seedlings sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
Some of plants may have very have specific germination requirements that may not be covered in these general instructions.
Many seeds require pre-treatment before sowing which we try to list here when we can, but this information may not be present here. Germination times and germination temperatures are to be a guide only. Many factors can DRASTICALLY affect this.
It's always a good idea to research the specific germination requirements from multiple sources for each plant before attempting to grow them from seed.
