Pink Butterflies - Mother of Thousands: Pink mother of thousands, Pink alligator plant, Pink kalanchoe
Kalanchoe x houghtonii: Kalanchoe x houghtonii seeds can be germinated indoors or outdoors in warm weather. Sow the seeds in a well-draining seed starting mix, covering them with a thin layer of soil. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged and maintain a temperature between 70-75F (21-24C). The seeds should germinate within two to four weeks. Once the seedlings have developed two or three leaves, they can be transplanted into their own containers or outdoors if weather permits.
Some of plants may have very have specific germination requirements that may not be covered in these general instructions.
Many seeds require pre-treatment before sowing which we try to list here when we can, but this information may not be present here. Germination times and germination temperatures are to be a guide only. Many factors can DRASTICALLY affect this.
It's always a good idea to research the specific germination requirements from multiple sources for each plant before attempting to grow them from seed.
