Nepenthes ampullaria "Speckeled Hot Lips": Nepenthes ampullaria seeds require warm, humid conditions for successful germination. The ideal temperature range for germination is between 70-80�F (21-27�C) with a humidity level of 80-90%. The seeds can be sown in a mixture of sphagnum moss and perlite, and covered with a plastic lid or wrap to maintain humidity levels. Keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged, and place the container in a bright, indirect light location. Germination may take several weeks to a few months, depending on the conditions.
