Papaver sp.: Poppy seeds should be sown directly into the garden or a container as they don't transplant well. Choose a spot with full sun and well-drained soil. Sow the seeds on top of the soil and press them lightly into the soil. Water gently and keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Germination should occur within 1-2 weeks.
